Hayden specializes in supporting big behaviors and meltdowns, and has presented on the topic around the world, from small groups to district-wide professional development days. He has spoken to audiences seeking support for students/clients ranging from pre-school to adult.

Hayden’s first job as a therapist was as a school counselor. In that role, he spent the majority of each and every day being called to classrooms for behavior support. Through this experience, he began to develop a co-regulatory approach to supporting students in these moments.

He has since moved into private practice as a play therapist specializing in meltdowns and is a dad to 3 little kids of his own. He prides himself on that his presentations are not just the textbook information, but that they are informed by real-life application, in multiple different arenas of life.
